Gallery artists bring us vibrant flowers and fresh green grasses to celebrate Spring.
Rain-washed skies and fields scrub blues and brighten greens. Artists’ palettes, dimmed in winter, bloom across canvases.
Thin washes make ponds and puddles, reflecting sky on earth in the remnants of a downpour. Flowers decorate the fields, flattening the picture plane. Thick paint creates row crops through line and pattern. Overhead, blank canvas becomes billowing clouds.
Spring is the season of abundance and joyous color in nature and art.
