December 11, 2020
through January 31, 2021

For this holiday season, gallery artists’ paintings, drawings, and photographs fill our walls with beauty and hope for the new year.

Looking back at 2020 and forward to next year, one thing I know I can control is what is on my walls. The art that surrounds me infuses my world with beauty and inspires creative approaches to my daily life. Viewing a painting is a uniquely fluid and expansive experience. I decide on the length of viewing and part of the painting to study. And I’m not constrained by a linear narrative or an ending.

This exhibition reflects this desire for beauty and creativity. These artists challenge our perception of the natural world through color and texture, line and shape. Their choices of substrate and medium don’t bring nature indoors, rather they create new worlds to explore.
