Marcia Burtt: Project Space
This October at Marcia Burtt Gallery, the gallery will be converted to a project space featuring 5 48×78″ paintings in progress by Marcia Burtt. It’s a unique opportunity for the public to see the completion of a large commission from start to finish. The completed work will be displayed in the new wing of Cottage Hospital.
In addition to the Project Space, the gallery will feature an exhibit of paintings by Marcia thematically related to the commission.

In his second solo show at Marcia Burtt Gallery, Erling Sjovold exhibits paintings that are opulent, serene and as precisely rendered as 17th-century panels.
The smaller paintings result from naturalistic observation and result in radiant landscape series of the Agua Caliente area of Santa Barbara’s backcountry or the high desert.
