Holiday exhibit 2010

November 26, 2010 – January 9, 2011

Beginning Friday, November 26, Marcia Burtt Gallery will present its holiday exhibition, a virtual treasure chest of paintings and drawings by gallery regulars and guest artists.

Work will range from exquisite small paintings to sizeable acrylics and oils. Guest artists from as far as Richmond, Virginia, contribute to this rich medley. A new feature for the gallery will be a selection of unframed paintings and drawings. Small prints will be available.

Local artists Meg Torbert, Ann Sanders, Susan Petty, Marilee Krause, Patricia Doyle, Patricia Chidlaw, Marcia Burtt, and Robert Abbott will contribute work.

From farther afield painters Anne Ward Sures, Erling Sjovold, Ian Roberts, Molly Lipsher, Mark Kerckhoff, and Michael Ferguson will participate.

Meet the artists at a reception on Thursday evening, December 2, from 5:00 to 7:00.

The exhibition will continue through Sunday, January 9.

Marcia Burtt Gallery is located at 517 Laguna Street between Cota and Haley in Santa Barbara. Gallery hours are Thursday through Monday, open 11:00-5:00 weekends, and 1:00-5:00 weekdays.
