PACIFIC RIM: Patricia Doyle at Marcia Burtt Studio
Marcia Burtt Studio is pleased to present “Pacific Rim,” a solo exhibition of new paintings by Patricia Doyle. Frequently featured in group exhibitions, this is Doyle’s first solo show at Marcia Burtt Studio.
The Pacific Rim series is an ongoing exploration by Doyle of the patterns and shapes created by the light, tides, and atmosphere of our coastline. The paintings include references to architecture and figures, moving between representation and abstraction as revealed in waves and wet sand.
Using large square canvases, Doyle portrays both an intimate experience and the expansiveness of the Pacific Rim.
A reception will be held on Friday evening, June 12, from 5:00 to 7:00.
